Current series ii
Selected works
This series arises from a personal inquiry into the experience of holding polarities without seeking to resolve them: activity and stillness, certainty and uncertainty, control and surrender. Painting becomes a space in which these forces can coexist and transform, not through synthesis or premature resolution, but through sustained attention. In this sense, the process is both material and introspective.
In a time marked by acceleration, over-definition, polarisation, and the constant search for certainty, this body of work proposes a form of quiet resistance: an invitation to remain with ambiguity and to accept complexity without reducing it. The series as a whole does not aim to represent a stable idea of harmony, but to open the possibility of an emerging harmony—one that arises precisely from the coexistence of difference.
Rather than offering closed answers, this body of work unfolds as an open process in which each painting registers a moment within a continuous exploration. Each work is constructed through the tension between containment and spontaneity, between structure and gesture. The repetition of certain elements does not seek to establish a rigid system, but to generate a field in which variations can emerge. In this way, each work exists in relation to the others, not as a resolution, but as a transition. Each painting is not an end in itself, but part of an expanding investigation into experience, perception, and ways of relating to the uncertain.
