Current series i - 'Vessels'
Selected works
Vessels, whether abstract or figurative, recur in my work as metaphors for receptivity, creativity, transformation and the holding of culture. They embody the subtle interplay between presence and absence.
The vessel is elemental, resonating with a long history of meaning and associations in art, literature, and culture. Flowing forms suggest transience, and the movement or transmutation of energy. Together, these motifs explore openness to what lies beyond the self and the willingness to hold and release, to receive and give back.
Philosophically, they affirm that the ineffable is ever-present and reflect the cyclical nature of our experience. Each painting invites viewers to dwell in mystery rather than explanation.
